This apparatus is for checking the angle of repose of powders and granules. For determination the sample material is filled into a standardized funnel that is equiped with a stirrer blade. The heigth of the powder cone heaping up under the funnel can be used as indicator for storage and flowing characteristics. The pourability of materials is affected by the surface consistency of grains especially the grain size, closeness of grain and humidity. For storage and undisturbed automatic processing information about the angle of repose and pourability are important. Complete apparatus out of stainless steel. Stable and anti slip tripod.
